Sawhorses

Cut from 2x4x16’.  

The first cut is 15 degrees, with the longest point of the leg 30”. 

The next cut is 90 degrees with the longest point of the leg 30”. 

Repeat the process until you have 4 legs.

Cut two braces from the remaining 72”.  

Cut the first brace at 15 degrees and discard the cutoff piece.

Measure over 6 7/8” and cut opposite 15-degree angle.

Longest point of block is 6-7/8”. 

The remaining 60” board is the top of the sawhorse. 

Place the leg vertically on the jig, with the angled end of the leg toward the band saw.

Feed one leg with the angle facing away from you and the other leg with the angle facing toward you. 

Repeat process for remaining legs.

You should have two sets of legs for each end of the sawhorse protruding outward at a 15-degree angle when assembled. 

Attach the angle end of leg even with the top of the sawhorse.

Use 1-5/8” screws for two top screws and 2-1/2” for all the other screws.
